She drops sick insults all the time and smiles in such a way that everyone thinks she’s being nice.

The people who say that probably haven’t read the books and only did a surface level watching of the show, because Sansa gets in some zingers and snarky comments that manage to walk the line between polite and down-right insulting. And she’s done that even when she was surrounded by the enemy and constantly under threat of pain, humiliation, and death. These people obviously don’t know what they’re talking about.

Even in the show she straight up stares Joffrey in the eyes and says ‘maybe he’ll give me yours’ while standing in front of her father’s decapitated head on a bridge above a pit of spikes alone in his home… Like if that isn’t an indication of what kind of fearless woman she is idk what to tell people.

Or calling Ramsay a bastard and telling him that he’ll never have more claim than his soon to be brother(rip)
